Join Us for a Creative Guild Meeting!
Get ready to ignite your creativity as we dive back into the mesmerizing world of Bargello, this time with an exciting twist — texture! Join us for an inspiring guild meeting where we’ll explore fascinating techniques to create Textured Bargello and unleash our artistic potential.
What to Expect:
In this hands-on session, we’ll delve into the innovative art of Textured Bargello, where the very process of assembly creates captivating textures and patterns. Whether you’re a seasoned artisan or new to Bargello, this meeting promises to ignite your imagination and inspire your polymer clay creations.
Supplies Needed:
- Clay* in at least 4-5 colors (condition beforehand to save time)
- Work Surface (preferably glass)
- Pasta machine
- Stiff, sharp blade
- Ripple blade(s)
- Extruder with discs
- Cutters, if desired, in your choice of shapes
- Texture sheet for back, if desired
- Small spray bottle with water
- Anything needed to finish your project such as findings, cords, chains, jewelry pliers, etc.
*Note: the amount of clay you will need will depend on your chosen project. I used enough clay (1 oz?) to fill my extruder for the example project and that produced more than enough extruded pieces. You’ll need 1 or 2 separate colors for the foundation/backing.
