OK Poly-Clay Twisters Retreat 2017

LAST MINUTE UPDATE!

Due to health issues, our guest artist, Karen Lewis (Klew), is unable to attend our retreat. Syndee Holt has generously offered to step in and teach us some of her fabulous techniques instead. Class topics are listed below.

SAVE THE DATES!!!

  • When: Thursday through Saturday, April 6-8, 2017
  • Where: Memorial Presbyterian Church, 601 24th Ave SW, Norman, OK 73069 [map and venue info]
  • This year’s theme: Safari 6
  • Guest artist: Syndee Holt
  • Syndee’s classes:
    • “A Translucent Workshop” (Friday afternoon) – Ways to work with translucent clay, including layering, using inks, making simple canes, and using silkscreens.
    • “Play in Clay with Syndee” (Saturday morning) – Various techniques Syndee has devised to work with clay – she’s always coming up with fun and innovative ways to play!

Swap Inchies

Make inchies (1″x1″ squares of polymer clay art) to bring to the retreat and swap with your retreat comrades! Making inchies is not required, but it’s a great way to collect souvenirs of the retreat and make new friends. Make as few or as many as you wish to trade.

Get Goodies

Our goody bags are full of free supplies and samples, generously donated by some of our favorite companies. We’ll be giving away several door prizes every day. Plus we’re holding an Auction Saturday after lunch, where larger prizes will be up for grabs. Take a look at these great sponsors:
