This month Cheryl wil be teaching us how to cover an Altoid tin. She has been playing with clay for just a year but has made great progress in her knowledge of all things clay.

Supply List:

  • 2 oz of conditioned clay to cover tin
  • Altoid tin or similar sized tin(thoroughly washed with soap and dried and then handled as little as possible; the oils from your hands can create problems with clay sticking to the tin)
  • pasta machine
  • ruler
  • exacto knife
  • blade
  • “smoothing, blending” tool
  • decorating idea(s) (maybe Christmas??)
  • clay to create the idea
  • polyfil to bake tin on
  • index card

Swap:

There is a swap this month. If you are interested in participating in the swap the theme is Hearth and Home!

The meeting is at the City Arts Center this month on November 10, 2012 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
